OvoLife Egg yolk phospholipids

have been registered as a Novel Food in the European Community (EC 258/97). They differ from phospholipids of plant origin in that they are extremely rich in phosphatidylcholine (PC) and bear substantial amount of highly unsaturated fatty acids (HUFAs) whose omega-6:omega-3 (ω6:ω3) ratio can be adjusted to fulfil age-specific human requirements. Rather than a food supplement, egg yolk phospholipids is more correctly defined as a natural cell membrane-refreshing nutrient, a far-more interesting concept in living systems that must be constantly regenerated.

OvoLife-IF

is a 2nd generation egg yolk phospholipid range, containing natural ARA (arachidonic acid), a long-chain omega-6 fatty acid and principal omega-6 in the brain. ARA is important for proper brain, visual and immunity development in infants. ARA occurs naturally in breast milk and Belovo has developed OvoLife® range, which has a natural fatty acid spectrum and profile close to the breast milk, rich in natural arachidonic acid, choline and cholesterol.
